Welcome to iMeUsWe website and/or application (collectively referred to as “Platform”), a global platform dedicated to unravelling the intricate tapestry of your family history and preserving cultural legacies. As you embark on this familial journey, you must read and agree to these Terms and Conditions including the Privacy Policy ("Terms") for using this Platform, which is owned and operated by iMeUsWe Ancestry Private Limited (“Company” or "we" or "us" or “our” or “iMeUsWe”). By using this Platform, you (including the legal guardian/parent of a minor) ("you" or "user") agree to and shall abide by all of the Terms set forth below which shall be binding on you. By accessing the Platform or any part thereof, you are explicitly agreeing to the Terms.
Although we may attempt to notify you when major changes are made to these Terms, you should periodically review the most up-to-date version. We may, in our sole discretion, modify or revise these Terms and policies at any time, and you agree to be bound by such modifications or revisions. In the event you do not agree to any of the Terms mentioned herein, we advise you to stop using this Platform.
The Company allows you to access the Platform and all contents and services provided on this Platform including all information, products and other materials are subject to the terms and conditions outlined below. By accessing or using the Platform or any part thereof, you are explicitly agreeing to the terms and conditions below. The Company reserves all rights to change, modify, update, or alter these Terms at any point of time with or without notifying you. Your continued use of the Platform means that you accept any updated terms and conditions that we come up with. If you do not wish to accept any update to these Terms and Conditions, then you shall immediately stop accessing and/or using the Platform. Please re-visit the Terms and Conditions at our Platform from time to time to stay abreast of any changes that we may introduce.
INTRODUCTION TO THE PLATFORM
The iMeUsWe Platform provides at a global level, a platform to users to research and build their family tree and preserve their family stories and heritage and provides services that enable users to explore their ancestry through DNA testing in collaboration with MapMyGenome India Limited (“MapMyGenome”).
SCOPE
Your use of the Platform is governed by these Terms, except to the extent that certain terms are the subject of a separate agreement. Specific terms or agreements may apply to the use of certain services and other items provided to you via the Platform (“Services”).
The use of our Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms and Conditions by reference.
We will not be liable if for any reason the Platform is unavailable at any time or for any period. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts or all of the Platform.
USER ELIGIBILITY
As per the Indian Contract Act, 1872, persons who are "competent/capable" of contracting with, shall be eligible to register as a user for the Platform. Persons who are minors, un-discharged insolvents etc. are not eligible to register for our Platform. As a minor, if you wish to use our Platform, such use shall be made available to you by your parent or natural/legal guardian, who have agreed to these Terms. In the event a minor utilizes the Platform, it is assumed that they are doing so with the consent of the parent or natural/legal guardian. We will not be responsible for any consequence that arises as a result of misuse of any kind of our Platform or any of the Services and/or products that may occur by virtue of any person including a minor who may have fraudulently registered for the Platform. By using the Services, you warrant that all the personal data and information provided by you is accurate and complete and that the minor child using the Platform has obtained the consent of parent or natural/legal guardian (in case of minors). Any persons under the age of 18 (eighteen) should seek the consent of their parents or natural/legal guardians before providing any information about themselves, their parents and/or other family members on the Platform.
You acknowledge that the Company does not have the responsibility to ensure that you conform to the aforesaid eligibility criteria except for following due security process at time of Verification. It shall be your sole responsibility to ensure that you meet the required qualification. If you do not qualify, you are not permitted to use the Platform.
ACCOUNT SECURITY
When you create an account on the Platform you register yourself as a customer ("Customer") to access certain Services as per the Terms and provide us with personal data and sensitive personal data. You shall be solely responsible for keeping your account and be responsible for all the transactions and activity on your account. We assume no liability for any loss or consequences caused by authorized or unauthorized use of your account credentials, including but not limited to information disclosure, information release, consent, or third-party links, or because of any disclosure made by you. You agree to strictly abide by all our mechanisms and procedures regarding security, authentication, sending, receiving, and withdrawing.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Platform, including information, trademarks, graphics, and materials, belongs to the Company. Intellectual property owned by third parties providing services on the Company’s Platform remains under the ownership of those parties. Users may only use the content for personal and non-commercial purposes following applicable laws.
THIRD PARTY SERVICES
iMeUsWe may provide hyperlinks to other websites for user convenience and reference. However, it's imperative to note that these detailed Terms exclusively govern iMeUsWe's website and not any third-party websites. The services provided by MapMyGenome are subject to the distinct terms and conditions stipulated by those respective websites. iMeUsWe assumes no responsibility for the services or liabilities associated with MapMyGenome.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India and are to be construed in accordance with them. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts situated in Mumbai. This ensures a clear legal framework within which any potential disputes or legal matters are addressed.
By registering on iMeUsWe, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these detailed Terms and Conditions. It is incumbent upon you to regularly review them, as iMeUsWe reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time, ensuring transparency and compliance with legal standards.

(“Company” or “we” or “us” or “our”) understands that your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your personal information is used and shared online. We respect and value the privacy of everyone who visits our website www.imeuswe.in (“Website”) and/ or iMeUsWe Mobile App (“Application”) (the Website and Application are collectively referred to as “Platform”) and will only collect and use personal information in ways that are described here, and in a manner that is consistent with our obligations and your rights under the applicable laws in India You acknowledge and agree that by using this Platform you are not in contravention of any local laws which you may be subject to.

By using our Platform and any of its pages, you (“you” or “your” or “User”) agree to and shall abide by all of the terms and conditions set forth below which shall be binding on you. TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We have the ability to collect two types of information from people who visit our Platform: Personally Identifiable Information and Aggregate Information (collectively,“Information”).
Personally Identifiable Information:
“Personally Identifiable Information” is any information by which you can be identified, such as your name, email address, phone number, etc. If you choose to provide us with Personally Identifiable Information, you consent to the transfer and storage of that information on our servers and use of your Personally Identifiable Information for the purposes mentioned in this Privacy Policy.

HOW WE USE COLLECTED INFORMATION
All Personally Identifiable Information is processed and stored securely, for no longer than is necessary in light of the reason(s) for which it was first collected.
Our use of your Personally Identifiable Information will always have a lawful basis, either because it is necessary for our performance of a contract with you or because you have consented to our use of your Personally Identifiable Information (e.g. by subscribing to emails).
We may collect and use your Information for the following purposes:

- To personalize User experience: We may use Information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Platform;

If a User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe or opt-out from receiving future emails, they may do so by contacting us via our Platform.
With your permission and/or where permitted by law, we may also use your Information for internal or external marketing and promotional purposes which may include contacting you by email, telephone, text message or post with information, news and updates on our offerings.
Third parties whose content appears on our Platform may use third party Cookies. Please note that we do not control the activities of such third parties, nor the data they collect and use and advise you to check the privacy policies of any such third parties.
HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
Your Personally Identifiable Information is maintained by the Company and/or any agency whom it has contracted the task in electronic form on its equipment, and on the equipment of its employees. Such Personally Identifiable Information may also be converted to physical form from time to time. Protecting the security of your Personally Identifiable Information is very important to Us, and to protect your Personally Identifiable Information, the Company takes all necessary precautions both online and offline and implements reasonable security practices and measures including certain managerial, technical, operational and physical security control measures that are commensurate with respect to the Information being collected and the nature of our business. Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the Internet or data storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your Personally Identifiable Information, we cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any Information you transmit to or from our Platform, and you do so at your own risk.
No administrator or employee at the Company will have knowledge of your password. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your account, password, computer and your mobile phone. Be sure to log off from the Platform when finished. The Company does not undertake any liability for any unauthorized use of your account and password. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, you must immediately notify the Company by sending an email to support@imeusewe.in. You shall be liable to indemnify the Company due to any loss suffered by it due to such unauthorized use of your account and password.
The Company makes all user Information accessible to its employees, agents or partners and third parties only on a need-to-know basis and binds only its employees to strict confidentiality obligations.
The Company assists the labs of MapMyGenome and it’s technicians to maintain and organize your Information. The Company may, therefore, retain and submit all such records of your Information to the appropriate authorities.

Notwithstanding the above, the Company is not responsible for the confidentiality, security or distribution of your Personally Identifiable Information by our partners and third parties outside the scope of our agreement with such partners and third parties. Further, the Company shall not be responsible for any breach of security or for any actions of any third parties or events that are beyond the reasonable control of the Company including but not limited to, acts of government, computer hacking, unauthorized access to computer data and storage device, computer crashes, breach of security and encryption, poor quality of Internet service or telephone service of the User, etc.
DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users Personally Identifiable Information to others. We may share generic Aggregate Information not linked to any Personally Identifiable Information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Platform or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. In some cases, the third parties may require access to some or all of your Information. We may share your Information with such third parties without the need for further consent from you. Where any of your Information is required for such a purpose, we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your Information will be handled safely, securely, and in accordance with your rights, our obligations, and the obligations of the third party under the law.
We may disclose your Information to (i) the Company’s current and future sponsorship, advertisement and development partners and strategic alliances, and (ii) group companies, i.e., subsidiaries, ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries.
We may also disclose your Information to third parties if (i) we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your Information to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets, (ii) if the Company or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case Information held by it about its Users/customers will be one of the transferred assets, (iii) if we are under a duty to disclose or share your Information in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of website use and other agreements; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our Users, or others.
We may also share your Information with these third parties under the following circumstances:
- to provide your Personally Identifiable Information to Third Parties accessed by you through our website.
- from time to time, to reveal general statistical Information about our Platform and visitors/users, such as number of visitors, number and type of services purchased, etc.;
- to transfer Personally Identifiable Information about you to trusted partners, may use such Personally Identifiable Information to promote certain products/services for commercial purposes, without any prior notice to you.
DELETING YOUR INFORMATION
You may access Our Platform without providing any Personally Identifiable Information at all.
You may restrict Our use of Cookies as provided below.
If you have provided Personally Identifiable Information but later you object to the use that we are making of that Personally Identifiable Information (for example, you no longer wish to receive an email from us) you can ask us to stop making use of that Personally Identifiable Information by emailing at support@imeuswe.in and requesting your name to be removed for our list.
HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION
We only keep your Personally Identifiable Information for as long as we need to in order to use it as described above, and/or for as long as we have your permission to keep it.
Notwithstanding the above, we may continue to use the Aggregate Information (which does not identify individual users) which is aggregated with anonymised data of other users, in perpetuity. We use this Aggregated Information for data analysis, profiling and research purposes, for example to gain insights about our users. We may also keep your email address to ensure that you no longer receive any communications from us as well as your name, date of birth and latest address for fraud prevention purposes and for the exercise or defence of a legal claim.
OUR USE OF COOKIES
Our Platform uses "Cookies". By using our Platform you may also receive certain third-party Cookies on your computer or device. Third party Cookies are those placed by websites, services, and/or parties other than us. Certain features of our Platform depend on Cookies to function. Your consent will not be sought to place these Cookies, but it is still important that you are aware of them. You may choose to set your web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you do so, note that some parts of the Platform may not function properly. We have taken great care to ensure that your privacy is not at risk by allowing them.
DISCLAIMER
The Company does not access, store or keep credit card data. All credit card transactions happen using Secure Server Software (SSL) for 128-bit encryption through third party gateways and the Company plays no role in the transaction, except for directing the customers/Users to gateways or the relevant webpage. Accordingly, the Company shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage due to any disclosure whatsoever of any Personally Identifiable Information.
The Company shall not be liable for any loss or damage sustained by reason of any disclosure (inadvertent or otherwise) of any Personally Identifiable Information concerning a User's account and/or information relating to or regarding online transactions using credit cards / debit cards /cash cards and/or their verification process and particulars or for any error, omission or inaccuracy with respect to any information so disclosed and used.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time (for example, if the law changes) with or without notice. When we do, we may post a notification on the main page of our Platform or send you an email. LAW AND JURISDICTION
This Privacy Policy, and the relationship between you and us (whether contractual or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.
